The class name indicates the main skill that will be focused on, drilled, and spotted during that class. The secondary skills that will be worked on are listed below.
Mommy & Me (9mo-2 yrs.)
(Structured & unstructured play, exploration, early development, music and more)
Just Twos (Age 2)
(Early development, motor skills, music and games)
Mini tumblers (Ages 3-4 & 5-6)
(Basic tumbling skills, drills, stretches, and games)
Intro to Tumbling (7 & up)
(Cartwheels, handstands, bridge kick-overs, beginning back handspring prep)
Walkovers +
***Pre-req***
1. Have a bridge (from ground or standing)
2. Have a backbend kick-over from an elevated surface (cheese mat, panel mat, etc)
3. Have a front limber (handstand, fall to bridge).
(Flexibility, technique and control required for front and back walkovers with the end goal of athletes confidently performing the skill through the use of drills, repetitions and skill-based progressions.)
Round offs +
(Back bends, kick overs, back handspring prep)
Intro Back Handspring
Aerials +
***Pre-req***
1. Strong upper body/ can support a handstand.
2. Solid cartwheel technique
(Designed for those with a foundation in cheer, gymnastics or acrobatics, this class focuses primarily on the side aerial. Athletes will learn how to build momentum, maintain control, and execute a beautiful, no-handed cartwheel.)
Back Handsprings +
(Round off back handsprings, back handspring series, back tuck prep)
Back tucks +
(Round off tucks, round off back handspring tuck, layout prep)
Layouts +
(Whips, fulls, specialty passes)
