Tumble smart is owned and operated by Coach Levi and his wife Christina. Levi grew up tumbling under the coaching of his father, Leonard Nickson. At the early age of 12, Coach Levi began coaching alongside of his father. In 2010, Levi graduated and began coaching full time. He gained experience working in popular cheer gyms throughout Tulsa. After two years of working in gyms, he moved into freelance coaching. During this time, Coach Levi rented floor space, coached at schools, parks, yards and even people’s garages! By November 2015, Coach Levi had built up his name and reputation within the tumbling industry and with a loyal group of students; he was able to open the doors to his own facility, Tumble Smart Athletics.
Christina joined the Tumble Smart family in 2019. Questions about classes, enrollment, tuition, camps or our policies? Christina is here to help. Her passion for organization and implementation of systems and procedures helps Tumble Smart to run smoothly and efficiently.
Growing up in Chicago Christina was on the dance team and participated in recreational gymnastics and tumbling. She has a passion for tumbling and loves that she now gets to call it work.

Hi! My name is Tamara, I am 16 years old, and I'm a tumbling coach for the minis/beginner's classes. I did competitive dance for 7 years and took tumbling after. I've been coaching for almost 2 years and have experience working with children as young as 2 years old. I believe in creating a positive and supportive environment where the kids develop confidence, strength, and coordination while having a blast in the gym. My favorite part about coaching at Tumble Smart is helping a student's achieve new skills and seeing the big smile on their face afterwards!
My name is Joseph MacDonald, I am 22 years old and I have been coaching since I was 17 years old. I was raised by a single mom with my 2 younger brothers and used to do dance, karate, track, basketball, acting and singing (worship at church and various performances) before I was introduced to the cheerleading and Acro world. I’ve always been passionate about flipping around, as the holes in the walls of my childhood home could attest to it. At 14 years old, I began cheerleading and this not only helped in exploring my love of tumbling but also changed my life for the better. From character building to countless amount of opportunities, cheerleading has been a blessing! I’ve always been involved with my church from serving to working within kids ministry since I was 12 years old. The traits I picked up from serving kids at church is what shaped me into the coach I am today. I attend the university of Tulsa where I am majoring in Biology Pre Med in hopes of attending medical school afterwards and chasing my dream of becoming an orthopedic surgeon. I love working with children and my greatest reward is seeing growth in confidence and passion. It is such a blessing to be able to bless and I look forward to growing more as a person, a friend, a coach, a mentor.

Helen Morrill grew up in Tallahassee, Florida, where she was introduced to gymnastics at a very young age, watching her older brother train and compete. By the age of 3, Helen, herself, was on the gym floor, where she immediately caught the eye of her coaches, who recognized her potential as an elite athlete. Helen was laser-focused on her training and excelled in all of the girl's events. But it was on floor exercise where she took center stage and, eventually, the state championship. A fierce competitor, Helen was also known as a loyal and encouraging teammate. Her beautiful smile lit up Gym Force, where she eventually returned to coach alongside her former coach, aspiring the next generation of young gymnasts to pursue their dreams. In 2019, Helen moved to Tulsa to be near family. Helen is happiest when she is working with young people, including her 3-year-old daughter, London. Nothing brings her more joy that seeing young people discover their abilities and gain confidence in who they are both in the gym and in the world. Worrying does not empty tomorrow of its troubles. It empties today of its strength.
